How can I cancel or modify my booking?

Bookings can be modified or cancelled by contacting Simba Car Hire’s support team directly. Please note, we do not currently offer an online modification feature. Changes depend on vehicle availability and may affect rental rates.

What is the insurance policy of Simba Car Hire?

All Simba Car Hire vehicles include basic insurance such as third-party liability, collision damage waiver (CDW), and theft protection. Optional personal accident insurance may also be available. Please check your rental agreement for details.

What forms of identification are required on arrival?

You’ll need to present your physical driver’s licence, a valid passport for international renters, and an International Driver’s Permit if your licence is not in English.

Can I use a digital version of my driver’s licence?

Yes, Simba Car Hire accepts Australian-issued digital driver’s licences provided they are displayed in an official government app.

Can I use an international driver’s licence?

Yes. International drivers can rent a car with Simba as long as they present a valid passport and a driver’s licence written in English or accompanied by an International Driving Permit.

What is the security bond?

A refundable security bond is held on your card at the start of the rental to cover potential damage or additional charges. The amount varies by vehicle type and is released once the car is returned in good condition.

What optional accessories do you provide?

We offer optional accessories such as child seats, GPS navigation units, and additional drivers. These can be added during booking or at pick-up.

Can I return the hire vehicle after hours?

Yes. After-hours vehicle returns are available at most Simba Car Hire airport locations. Instructions for key drop-off will be provided at the time of collection.

What should I do if I’m involved in an accident?

If an accident occurs, ensure everyone’s safety first, contact local authorities, and notify Simba Car Hire immediately. Please complete the incident report provided in your vehicle and follow the staff’s instructions for next steps.

I need roadside assistance — what should I do?

Simba Car Hire provides roadside assistance with all rentals. If you experience a breakdown or issue, call the emergency contact number listed on your rental agreement for immediate help.
